オートローダーをPoINT Archiverで使用できるようにするために、デバイスドライバーをインストールする必要があります。その際に必要なソフトウェア(通常は、プリンタードライバーのみ)だけをインストールするようにして下さい。デバイスのサポートソフトウェアをインストールすると、PoINTArchiverと共存できない場合があります。必要なドライバーだけをインストールするには、デバイスを接続し、Windowsのデバイスウイザードが起動された時点でドライバーのディスクを入れて、ウイザードの自動インストールに任せることを推奨します。
複数の同じオートローダーを接続する場合には、Primeraのサポート情報を参照して下さい。
Notes for TEAC Autoloaders
以下のプリンターモードがサポートされています。
メンテナンスモードを正しく動作させるためには、以下の条件が必要です。
PoINT
Archiverが稼働している間は、フロントのパワーボタンが押されるかどうかを検知します。押された場合には、システムのシャットダウンが要求され、オートローダーの動作が完了した時点で該当するメッセージがフロントパネルに表示されます。その後に、PoINT
Archiver が終了し、システムがシャットダウンされます。
Please
note:
OS の再起動機能は動作しません。(i.e.
shutdown + restart) ハードウェアは無条件で5分後にパワーオフします。
Notes for Rimage Autoloaders
PoINT Archiver はオートローダーを制御するために、Rimageのソフトウェアのサービスに依存しています。このバージョンでは、Rimageの8.0をサポートしています。PoINT Archiverをアップグレードした場合は、従来の7.0:7.1を使用できます。
以下のRimageのソフトウェアのバージョンでテストされています。
Rimageのサーバーソフトウェアはオートローダーが接続されているサーバーにインストールする必要があります。PoINT Archiverは必ずそのサーバーにインストールしなければならないということはありませんが、Windowsのネットワークで接続されているサーバーでなければなりません。
Rimageのオートローダーを使用する場合は以下の手順に従って下さい。
この内容は、マニュアルの内容とは一部異なっています。
Rimageオートローダーの設定
デバイス設定の画面を表示し、サーバー追加を実行します。サーバーとポートを指定して、再接続を行います。これで表示されたリストから、オートローダーを選択して、追加をクリックして下さい。画面をクローズし、マニュアルの通りにデバイスの設定を行って下さい。
メディア種類の変更
変更する際には、まず最初にRimageのソフトウェアでメディアの種類(CDか
'Bin Empty'条件の扱い
binが空になった場合に、Rimageのサーバーが警告メッセージの｢リモートサーバからの警告がペンディングです。｣が表示されることがあります。新しいメディアをbinに追加した後にこのメッセージに応答して下さい。

StorageTek™ ACSLS
PoINT Archiver は StorageTek™
ACSLS (Automated Cartridge System Library Software)をサポートします。SUN® LibAttach software version 1.4.2 がインストールされており、Windowsシステムで設定されている必要があります。PoINT Archiverは自動的にデフォルトサーバーとして設定されているACSLS serverを使用します。StorageTek™ ACSLS を使用するには、PoINT Archiverのインストール時に必要なサポートモジュールを選択して下さい。
サポートされているテープカートリッジは、LTO 2/3/4です。
