Intel Pentium ベース、又は互換性のあるプロセッサー、最低でも2.0 GHz (又は、マルチコアのCPU)。データの暗号化を行う場合には、Pentium 4 at 3.2 GHz (又は、マルチコアのCPU) が必要。
Windows Vista では、2 GBのRAM が必要です。その他のWindowsOSでは、1GBのRAMが必要です。
サポートされている32bitのOSは、以下の通りです。:
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows
- Windows Server 2003 SP1 and 2003 R2
- Windows XP Professional SP2
- Windows 2000 SP4 (Professional, Server, Advanced Server,
64 Bit のWindowsOSはPoINT Archiver 3.2ではサポートされていません。
Additional requirements for WORM Archives
WORM Archivesを使用する場合には、インストール時にPoINT TAFS Agentを選択して下さい。PoINT TAFS Agent はWORMアーカイブへファイルシステムからのアクセスを提供します。
PoINT TAFS Agentモジュールへの必要要件:
- .NET 2.0 ランタイム
- Update Rollup 1 for SP4
(Windows 2000のみ)
イメージファイルとデータベースを保存するHDは暗号化や圧縮が有効で無いものを使用する必要があります。
Program Files
プログラムファイルは、HD上で100MBを消費します。
Database
データベースはNTFSでフォーマットされたパーティションに保存する必要があります。また、データベースのサイズはアーカイブされるファイル数に応じて大きくなりますので充分な空き容量が必要です。データベースのサイズの目安は以下の式で算出できます。
データベースのサイズ = 1024 Bytes * ディレクトリー数
+ 256 Bytes * (ディレクトリー数 + ファイル数)
+ 36 Bytes * ファイル数
ディレクトリー数とファイル数はアーカイブされるデータに含まれる総数です。
例:
- 100万個のファイルと1万個のディレクトリーでは、315 MBが必要。
- 1000万個のファイルと10万個のディレクトリーでは、約3GBが必要。
データベースは100MB単位で自動的にサイズアップします。
Image Files
Arch アーカイブされるデータは光メディアに記録される前にHD上のイメージファイルとして保存されます。光メディアへの記録が完了するとイメージファイルは削除されます。イメージファイルのサイズは使用する光メディアの空き容量と同じになります。
注意: 非常に大きなファイルをアーカイブする場合には、ファイルの32倍のHDの空き容量が必要になる場合があります。
