SIEGEN, Germany, July 17, 2003. PoINT Software & Systems now offers a Chinese and Japanese version of its PoINT Jukebox Manager. At the same time the number of distributors in the Asian market is further increased. While the specialist for optical storage systems just signed a partnership agreement with Optical Expert Co., Ltd. in Tokyo the company of Siegen has already been working together with several regional partners in China.
“The PoINT Jukebox Manager is an internationally noted management software for optical storage media. The new Japanese version will open numerous additional doors for PoINT in our country", says Hiroaki Kadono, general manager of Optical Expert, convinced of the software's success. In first test installations the Japanese software version has already demonstrated outstanding results.
“Similar to the US, Asia is an interesting growth market for us”, says Bernd Klee, PoINT’s general manager. “Especially in this region national language versions play an important role. And now we have established the prerequisites in Japan and China to continue the success we have achieved in the US. In addition PoINT Jukebox Manager is gaining increasing interest as standard storage software for corporations with branch offices worldwide.”
