Background information about the PoINT Jukebox Manager
The PoINT Jukebox Manager offers transparent access to jukeboxes in a networked environment via a drive letter. Due to the PoINT Jukebox Manager’s seamless integration into the Windows system kernel, all Windows-supported network clients have the option to use the jukebox as network data store. And the Windows specific security and authorization mechanisms can be applied to the jukebox file system as well. The integration of various media into a logic unit (volume set) and the elimination of media limits for individual files (file spanning) open up new application opportunities for jukebox solutions in the mass storage market.
