Transparent migration

The PoINT VFS is an integral part of PoINT Storage Manager. It integrates obsolete systems (e.g. MO/WORM jukeboxes) and new storage systems into a consolidated storage solution. Files of the old storage system remain within file system access and are then seamlessly migrated into the new system by background operation. This scenario allows uninterrupted operation of the application even during migration - no reconfigurations are necessary.
