Storage Migration to NetApp FAS

The migration of obsolete storage systems or systems no longer under support („legacy“ storage systems) is a special challenge for IT departments. These systems have to be migrated automatically and without any interruption of the IT environment into new systems, like NetApp FAS.
PoINT Storage Manager meets these demands and supports the migration of legacy storage systems, e.g. CAS systems, UDO jukeboxes or old tape libraries to NetApp FAS systems. Especially NetApp Data ONTAP specific features like SnapLock are applied and WORM and retention period adjustments of legacy systems are transferred to the NetApp FAS system.
