PoINT AVSDK supports the creation of general CD, DVD and BD data volumes as well as the creation of special volume formats like VCD, SVCD and DVD-Video.
By means of general CD, DVD and BD data volumes, AVSDK supports any combination of ISO 9660, Joliet and UDF volume and file structures. Alternatively, almost any kind of pre-formatted data image files can be used as source.
In video volumes, AVSDK accepts MPEG encoded and interleaved audio and video program streams or MPEG encoded still pictures as sources.
Furthermore, AVSDK offers special raw modes for recording and editing existing VCD, DVD-Audio and (HD) DVD-Video information files.
In any applicable volume, arbitrary data files can be recorded.
Besides the creation of new volumes, AVSDK also reads and copies existing volumes of almost any type.
