We employ state-of-the-art technical and organizational security measures to ensure compliance with data protection laws and to prevent accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction of or unauthorized access to the data we store.

Newsletter

Registering to receive our newsletter requires the completion of a double opt-in process. This means that you will first receive an email with a confirmation link which you must then click on in order to register to receive our newsletter.

When registering for our newsletter, you will be asked to enter the following details:

·         Your email address

·         Company name

We require this data in order to personalize our newsletter and send it to you. This data will be processed by our marketing department. The data will be stored until you unsubscribe from our newsletter, after which it will be deleted. The legal basis for this is your agreement to allow us to process the relevant personal details (art. 6 para. 1(a) GDPR).

Contact form

When making contact using our contact form, you will be asked to enter the following details:

All other data is entered on a voluntary basis.

We require this data in order to make contact with you and process your inquiry. This data will be processed by the relevant departments in our organization (sales, marketing, support, licensing). The legal basis for this is your agreement to allow us to process the relevant personal details (art. 6 para. 1(a) GDPR). This data will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

IP addresses

When you access our website or any file on it, your internet browser sends data relating to this exchange which is stored in a log file on our web server. This data is as follows:

·      The website visited/file accessed

·      The result/status code of the access request

·      The amount of data accessed, in bytes

·      A reference to the source which brought you to this page

·      The web browser and operating system used

The stored data is relevant to our legitimate hazard-prevention interests in case of attacks on our information technology systems. This data can be viewed by our IT department if there is legitimate grounds for suspicion. The log file will be deleted after 3 months. The legal basis for this is art. 6 para. 1 section 1(f) GDPR.

Transferring data to third countries or international organizations

The data we collect will never be transferred to a third country or any international organization.

Webinar Program

When you register for a PoINT webinar, you must enter the following personal data: first name, last name, email address and company/organization. All other details are optional. We need this data to get in touch with you and to send you an invitation to a PoINT webinar. This data is processed in our respective departments (sales, marketing).

The data collection upon registration and participation in our webinars takes place on the legal basis Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The data will be stored until you withdraw your consent.

YouTube

We use YouTube as a service provider to integrate videos into our website. These videos are embedded in an enhanced data protection mode. Like most websites, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website.
